Hotel Bill
Next time you think your hotel bill is too high, you might want to consider this:

A chap and his wife were travelling by car from Victoria to Prince George in the USA. After almost eleven hours on the road, they were too tired to continue and decided to take a room. But they only planned to sleep for four hours and then get back on the road. When they checked out four hours later, the desk clerk gave them an account for $350.
The man exploded and demanded to know why the charge was so high explaining that although it is a nice hotel, the room certainly was not worth $350. Then the clerk tells him that the $350 is the standard "charge." The man insisted in speaking with the Manager.

The Manager appeared, listened to the man and then explained that the hotel has an Olympic sized swimming pool and a huge conference centre that were available for us to use. "But we didn't use them. "Well they are here and you could have," said the Manager, going on to explain we could have also taken in one of the shows for which the hotel is famous. "We have the best performers from New York, Hollywood and Las Vegas perform here," tha Manager said.
'But we didn't go to any of those shows,' 'Well we have them and you could have,' the Manager replied.
No matter what the amenity the Manager mentioned, the man replied - "But we didn't use it".
The Manager was unmoved and eventually the man agreed to pay, writing a cheque and giving it to the Manager.
The Manager was surprised when he looked at the cheque. But sir, this cheque is only made out for $50.00. "That's correct, as I charged you $300 for sleeping with my wife." "But I didn't, exclaimed the Manager"

"Well, too bad she was here and you could have."

This video shows the winner of "Ukraine’s Got Talent", Kseniya Simonova, 24, drawing a series of pictures on an illuminated sand table showing how ordinary people were affected by the German invasion during World War II. Her talent, which admittedly is a strange one, is mesmeric to watch.The images, projected onto a large screen, moved many in the audience to tears and she won the top prize of about £75,000. She begins by creating a scene showing a couple sitting holding hands on a bench under a starry sky, but then warplanes appear and the happy scene is obliterated. It is replaced by a woman’s face crying, but then a baby arrives and the woman smiles again. Once again war returns and Miss Simonova throws the sand into chaos from which a young woman’s face appears.She quickly becomes an old widow, her face wrinkled and sad, before the image turns into a monument to an Unknown Soldier. This outdoor scene becomes framed by a window as if the viewer is looking out on the monument from within a house. In the final scene, a mother and child appear inside and a man standing outside, with his hands pressed against the glass, saying goodbye. The Great Patriotic War, as it is called in Ukraine, resulted in one in four of the population being killed with eight to 11 million deaths out of a population of 42 million.
Kseniya Simonova says:

"I find it difficult enough to create art using paper and pencils or paintbrushes, but using sand and fingers is beyond me. The art, especially when the war is used as the subject matter, even brings some audience members to tears. And there’s surely no bigger compliment."

How clever is your right foot?

You have to try this. It takes 2 seconds. I could not believe this!!! This will boggle your mind and you will keep trying over and over again to see if you can outsmart your foot, but you can't. It's pre-programmed in your brain!

1. Without anyone watching you (they'll probably think you are a nutcase....) and while sitting at your desk in front of your computer, lift your right foot off the floor and make clockwise circles.

2. Now, while doing this, draw the number '6' in the air with your right hand. Your foot will change direction.

I told you so!!! And there's nothing you can do about it! You and I both know how weird it is, but before the day is done you are going to try it again, if you've not already done so. If anyone figures it out, let me know.

Now, ask your friends to try it and frustrate them too.
